How many children are in the classes and do adults need to attend?

We like to keep classes small. We have a limit of 8 people, but can accommodate 10.

One adult only should accompany children who are attending the Little Artists (under 6's) classes.

In the 6-11 year old classes there is a limit of 8 children per class. Parents are expected to drop off and pick up.

What is provided in classes?

We have aprons and all materials are included.

We have a wash basin so you can even wash hands if they are very messy.

Please provide a nut free packed lunch for your child if they are attending Art Camps which are 3.5 hours and 5 hours long.

Children are to take home any food wrappings/ food waste.

They are welcome to bring a water bottle for any other classes.

Prosecco is served at all Adult classes.

We are on Googlemaps. Please follow directions to the studio from your confirmation email.

Please do not park in front of neighbours driveways.

How do I pay for a class?

We have an online booking system.

You will also receive a reminder email the day before the class.

Unwell?

Please do not attend class or bring your child to classes if you or they have any suspicion or indication that they are unwell.  If I feel that your child is ill or showing symptoms I will not allow them entry to the class. You will be called to collect your child from class.

Can I get a refund for a missed class?

A lot of time and expense goes into planning a class.

We do not offer refunds for missed classes. We also require 48 hours notice

You will receive a reminder email the day before the class to help you remember your class.

Changes, cancellations & refunds

We understand that sometimes you may have booked a class before realising you had a prior engagement. We can move you to another class where available within that week.

As you can understand we have limited slots and if we receive prior notice we can make arrangements to fill those slots.

We do require 48 hours notice to cancel a class.

Unfortunately, we do get charged a non-refundable 3rd party booking fee on the booking system, so a 10% charge is deducted to cover this fee when any refund is issued.

We cannot issue refunds for gift vouchers or Painting Experiences. We can defer to a more suitable time within 6 months of issue.

If a member of staff is ill or needs to cancel the class, we will issue you with a full refund (no cancellation fee will be charged).

Late?

Please make a note of the time of the class when you book. If you are late to collect your child, you will be charged a late fee. Classes run throughout the day and we require time to clean and prepare for the next class.

My child has learning difficulties, can they attend a class?

We welcome all children to The Art House.

If your child prefers a smaller class or even 1-1 lesson we will do our best to accommodate.

Every child should have the opportunity to create!

We do not tolerate bad behaviour. If your child is disruptive, violent or uses inappropriate words in class we will not allow them back to classes. You will be called to collect your child. We do understand that art classes may not be for everyone.

If you have any further questions, do get in touch.
