The Art House runs adhoc adults classes. We explore different mediums such as painting or clay sculpture or printmaking. We also explore a different themes, such as painting landscapes or cherry blossoms to sculpting bowls or the bust.

No experience is necessary as Geeta will guide you on composition, colour choice and technique, therefore the classes are smaller and more attention can be given. 

​

Classes run in the evening and last for about 1.5 hours or 2 hours. A glass (or two!) of Prosecco is included or there are non-alcoholic options too. Some ladies or men enjoy a cup of tea while painting too. 

​

These classes are good fun if you're looking to try something different and have a fun evening out, while also learning a new skill.

 

You'll no doubt surprise yourself with the ability you thought you never had!

Classes are run at The Art House studio in Horsell Village with free parking. We are only a 10 min walk from Woking station.

I learnt more about painting in Geeta's two hour adult class than I did in a year of art classes in senior school. 
It was great to use acrylic paints for the first time, let alone paint on a canvas on an easel.  
Geeta created a relaxed and fun environment, which was ideal given I hadn't painted since I was 14!
