Social Distancing Measures
In accordance with the government guidelines, all students must be kept 1 meter apart at all times during lessons. To adhere to this guideline we have taken the following measures:
The Art House Studio
Our normal capacity in our studio used to be 8 people we are now reducing that to ensure that there is plenty of room for students to work safely.
For the time being, we will only have 4 students maximum in the art studio at any one time (excluding your teacher).
Hand Sanitiser & Cleaning
Before entering the studio or The Art Garage, you will be required to use hand sanitiser provided before touching any art materials or studio equipment.
You will also be required to sanitise your hands before and after using the toilet.
The Art Garage
This space is in the garage at the same venue (just a little more industrial!)
Little Artists (2-6 years old), Young Artists (6-11 years old) classes and Adult classes will be held in the garage.
We can allow up to 8 people safely seated at a distance. The garage door will be open to allow for ventilation, so please dress warmly!
Unfortunately, our aprons are not in use at this time. Please dress for mess. An old large t-shirt works well as you can just pop it over your clothes or bring an aprons if you have one.
You or your child are welcome to wear a mask. Your teacher will also be wearing a mask at all times. Your teacher for Little Artists sessions will be wearing a visor. If the studio door needs to be closed due to cold weather, both student and teacher will be required to wear a mask. So, please carry a mask with you incase you will need to wear one.
Parking & Queueing
When arriving at the studio please drop your child off outside the studio. If you are arriving for a class at The Art Garage, please do not enter the garage, unless you are attending the class with your child. When waiting outside for your child, please keep your distance from other parents/ carers.
Please do not attend class or bring your child to classes if you or they have any suspicion or indication that they are unwell. If I feel that your child is ill or is showing symptoms as provided by the government guidelines I will not allow them entry to the class.
Usually payment is made at the time of booking. But, as we might have to cancel classes at short notice due to a possibility of new restrictions, we have delayed payment.
A week before your class, you will receive an email with bank details, we kindly request for payment to be made promptly to secure your place.
If you are showing symptoms of Covid, feeling unwell or need to self isolate we will require 24 hours notice to issue you with a refund. As you can understand we have limited slots and if we receive prior notice we can make arrangements to fill those slots. We cannot issue refunds for gift vouchers or painting experiences. We can defer to a more suitable time within 6 months of issue.
If a member of staff is ill or needs to cancel the class, we will issue you with a full refund.
